The orchid seedlings took some four months growing in the bottle, until we broke the bottle following instructions we had received from the farm. During this four month period the orchids consumed most of the growing gel, and got plenty of light every day from lights set up with timer. The bottle was packed with seedlings, and we planted many smaller seedlings together in nearly 40 planting pots. Most of the baby orchids have now survived for a year since our trip to Thailand, and are growing slowly but steadily in an aquarium turned to a terrarium.
